Photos of various celestial objects.

My main telescope for my own astrophotography use is a very modest, three decade old, 4" (101.6 mm) aperture f/10 Meade SCT. And I most often use it in rather difficult circumstances, i.e. in the middle of a fairly bright (but fairly dark for its size) city, where cutting through the skyglow can be quite a challenge, especially for the dim extended object like nebulæ & galaxies. When doing astrophotography with it, I like to keep the accessories to a minimum, usually using some combination of a visual back, T-ring adapter, Barlow lens, & broadband light pollution filter. When processing the images later, I lean towards altering the picture minimally, keeping the truth of the image intact, rather than enhancing to the point that it no longer reflects reality.

Sometimes, on the other hand, I might soon be using the telescopes at work at the Sky Bar here in Tucson, where we have a 14" Meade SCT, and an 8" Celestron with a Starizona HyperStar & a Starlight Express camera on it.
